There are so many types of therapy out there! Dr. Cataldo has an integrative approach; she primarily blends interventions from ACT, CBT, IFS, Motivational Interviewing, and narrative therapy. This integrative approach can be applied more dynamically (through the “Insight Track”) or more methodically (through the “Skills Track”). Regardless of which personalized therapy track you choose at TRELLIS, you can be certain that you will be receiving high-quality, evidence-based care with a trusted professional.

First of all, it’s totally normal to not click with your therapist. (And don’t worry - therapists are well-aware of this!) The good news is, there are lots of therapists out there who would be a good match for you!
If your current therapist is not a good match, you can:
reflect on why that is and what else you might need,
communicate with them (if it feels safe to do so),
ask them for a referral that would be a better match.
Remember: therapy is a personal investment of your time, money, and emotional resources. You should invest in yourself wisely!
